CanmetMINING held a Green Mining Innovation workshop on May 31, 2018 in Ottawa to obtain advice from members from its Green Mining Innovation Advisory Committee, Green Mining Innovation Intergovernmental Working Group and other key stakeholders. Participants' feedback will be incorporated into a workshop report and action plan. During the workshop, CanmetMINING presented highlights from its collaborative work in 2017-2018, presented its vision for the organization's future and launched the Canadian Mining Science and Engineering Laboratory Network. The Network will provide a forum for mining and minerals laboratory leaders to share knowledge, leverage resources and create a culture of sharing and open communication to develop and address the strategic priorities of the Canadian minerals and metals sector.
